Last year, Master CFII, Jack Vandeventer wrote this:
"..I was there Wed-Sunday with Bob Anderson. Presented a Forum on 'Increasing CFI income through the new Sport Pilot' on Sunday morning 11:30am to 12:45pm. Worked the National Association of Flight Instructor booth on Fri and Sat mornings. Attended the "Meet the Masters" breakfast on Thursday morning."
"Camped on the 'north 40' each night. Enjoyed the Cessna Pilots Association dinner on Friday night at the Hilton on the airport. Won Voyager software, not sure what it does yet. Learned how to recover with Poly Fiber. Also put in 10 rivets into aluminum like building a metal plane, Both fabric and metal workshops were really fun! Thanks, Jack (J.W. Vandeventer, Ph.D., C.P.M., MCFI-I, MEI-I) "

Rob Jones also attended, earlier in the week (Airventure '05), in order to get the chance to watch Rutan's SpaceShipOne come in for a landing at the airport - one of its few, historic flying appearances, after Michael Melvill's trip above the stratusphere, and before it became a static display at the Smithsonian.
