Conveniently located off 96th Street and Allisonville Road in Fishers, Indiana, Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport has been in existence since the early 1960's. The left-traffic runway (33/15) is more than 3,800 feet long - great for flight training, due to the prevalent crosswinds - and a great length for GA and charter operations.
You can easily see the blue hangars the airport when looking north while driving on E. 96th Street *between* Allisonville Road and interstate I-69 in Fishers, Indiana (on the northeast side of Indy). From East 96th Street, turn north at the traffic light on Masters Road and then, when you reach the first stop sign, turn east (right) and go all the way to the parking lot. You can see the ramp straight ahead. The Charter Hangar is on the north side of the lot; and the FBO is on the south side.
